August Reads

I started this new blog and have failed at blogging consistently. I am struggling to get back into the habit of blogging again. But I will make more of an effort. I promise.

On that note, here is my list of August reads. I have to say, August has been one of the better months for me this year. I know September is nowhere close for number of reads so far.

  1. Him by Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy
  2. First Time: Penny by Abigail Barnette
  3. First Time: Ian by Abigail Barnette
  4. Riot by Jamie Shaw
  5. Sustained by Emma Chase
  6. Magic Bites by Ilona Andrews
  7. Magic Burns by Ilona Andrews
  8. Magic Strikes by Ilona Andrews
  9. Falling Under by Lauren Dane
  10. The Boss by Abigail Barnette
  11. Flirting with Fire by Kate Meader
  12. Magic Mourns by Ilona Andrews
  13. Anything but Broken by Joelle Knox
  14. Sacked by Jen Frederick

It all makes sense now. I was glomming Ilona Andrews. LOL So of course those were my favorite reads but there were many for August. There were three books that just didn’t work for me: Riot by Jamie Shaw, Anything but Broken by Joelle Knox and Falling Under by Lauren Dane. They were ok reads, not my favorites.

And I even reviewed two books in August! Sweet.

In other August news, She-ra turned 8!!

Aww. Happy belated birthday, She-Ra! I can’t believe she’s 8. I remember when you got her. So sweet.

You know, I still haven’t read that Ilona Andrews series. Someday. Someday.

She-Ra is already 8? Holy cow!! Happy Belated Birthday to her!

Riot drove me up the wall too so I don’t even blame you. Mostly it was Dee. I wanted to punch her in the throat.
