Before I list the books I read in October, I have to mention the dream I had last night. I had a meeting in my local park with my four coworkers and since we were in the park, I decided to bring Max. So here I am, walking all over this park with Max. It was bittersweet. November marks two years since he passed and he’s definitely been on my mind a lot. I was flirting with the idea of getting another dog in late summer, but She-Ra is used to having me all to herself so I decided not to.
Okay, October was a crazy work month for me but I still managed to squeeze in quite a few books! Here’s what I read:
- A Summer to Remember by Mary Balogh
- Dark Wild Nights by Christina Lauren
- For You by Kristen Ashley
- Down the Rabbit Hole by Holly Madison
- At Peace by Kristen Ashley
- So Sweet by Rebekah Weatherspoon
- Treasure by Rebekah Weatherspoon
- Curran POV Collection by Gordon Andrews
- Rock Redemption by Nalini Singh
- Magic Dreams by Ilona Andrews
- Magic Gifts by Ilona Andrews
- Gunmetal Magic by Ilona Andrews
- Irresistibly Yours by Lauren Layne
- Blurred Lines by Lauren Layne
- Vengeance Road by Erin Bowman
- Frenched by Melanie Harlow
Overall, October was a very enjoyable month. It started off slow when I couldn’t find my reading mojo but that turned around quickly.
😦 I can’t believe it’s been two years since Max passed. I like to think of him playing in the giant dog park in the sky….

Oh, Max. 😦 He is still a huge part of who you are to me. You loved him very much and he loved you right back. Big hugs to you, Ames.
