Canadian Book Confession

So I’ve heard that Anne of Green Gables was being updated and will be streamed on Netflix. And my reaction? Meh. I have to confess I never read the books growing up or even watched the show. LOL

    It was one of those books that I thought I had read as a kid, but when I listened to it on audio (last year?) I realized….um, I hadn’t. However I watched the Megan Follows / Colleen Dewhurst miniseries multiple times as a kid and, this is a bit sacrilege to say, it’s honestly just as good as the book. It’s a VERY faithful adaptation.

    Meh for me as well. I watched the anime when I was young and some episodes of the TV series, but otherwise, that’s it. Never really got hooked on it.
