I have a monthly book budget, and it’s a pretty generous one. I totally demolished it during August but I figure since I came in below budget several months throughout the year, that it was ok. I do feel some guilt about it, but ah well. Not that much. LOL
Do you have a monthly book budget?
Not really. lol. But I try not to go overboard. If that makes sense. I do have plenty of amazon cards. I just need to read!

Despite my family knowing I love to read, I rarely get giftcards at my birthday or holidays. LOL

Not really. Between ARCs, work, conference swag and freebies I download – I don’t really buy a ton. I usually go on a Harlequin bender a couple of times year when they have a really good sale going on – which limits some of the damage.

Oh yeah, book hauls from RWA alone could be a half year’s worth of reading!

I don’t have a book budget anymore, I never kept to it so I gave it up. I know myself enough to know that I’m going to buy what I want when I want it.
But you? You totally don’t have to feel bad about going overboard this month. You were spending the money you didn’t spend on those other months. 🙂

My issue is I pre-order books and the release date changes. That made me have so many books in a couple month I had a to cancel a few and hold off for later this year.

I rarely pre-order, but that would be so annoying!
