Week in Review: Feb 20 – 26

wirsheraThis past week was a good one. I got back into walking on the treadmill after two days off. I’m taking it easy though, just going at a slow and steady pace. No more hip pain so no complaints from me. I also had Monday AND Friday off so I got a heck ton of reading done. Like I haven’t read this much in one week in long time. Yay for good books! And they were all good. The weakest of the bunch was Special Interests but it was still good. I also saw some movies. I went to see Lion with my mom and omg that movie was gut wrenching! I also went to see Lego Batman with my -adult- baby brothers today. LOL I didn’t feel bad about going to see a kid movie though because I noticed a few other adults in the theater without kidlets. But there were still a lot of kids. It was a cute movie in the end. Will Arnett’s batman and Michael Cera’s Robin were a funny duo. Next movie to check out will be Logan on the weekend!

As I’m typing this up though, I’ve got a sick puppy cuddled up to me. She-ra threw up this morning so we’ll see if it persists. I’ll feed her some plain chicken this evening to settle her stomach. I’m wondering if she’s getting sick of her food. Charlie is fine so it’s not the food itself. Maybe its just her system? I’m off tomorrow too so I’ll be able to keep an eye on her. Days off in bed with my furbaby are good days.

Anyway, here’s what I read this week!

Hey you! That is a great list of books read. What did you think of Artistic License? Was that a favorite or just another solid read? I’m curious about that one. Love the header and I hope She-ra feels better soon.

As an adult, you can do what you want so if you want to go to see a kids movie without kids, you do you!

Hugs and happy reading this week!
