Week in Review: May 29 to June 4

The past week was a good one. The weather has been great and we had two birthdays to celebrate, my cousin and my dad’s. For June we have my youngest brother’s 21st birthday to look forward to. Yay. Oh and father’s day! I got my dad a Canada 150 T-shirt and a movie. Seriously, my dad has everything! So I don’t know what to get him for Father’s Day. I know he mentioned getting a new Tim Horton’s travel mug. So I’ll get him one of those. Nothing fancy. haha

I’m getting worried about my reading. I read one book this week. Again. I had to return Caraval before I could finish reading it (library book if you couldn’t guess) and I started Rocked Up by Karina Halle. WELL the book was feeling off for me and I get why…I had the placeholder file from Kobo…so it wasn’t the correct file. And here’s my beef with kobo. You have to CALL and speak to an actual PERSON for customer service stuff. Seriously, just give me the right file and let’s not talk to anyone. I’m such an introvert. LOL So I’ve been avoiding making the call so I haven’t read anything once I realized I had the wrong file (the book cuts off at Chapter 4 – and this is the second time it happened!).

suphhShacking Up by Helena Hunting

So that was my reading week. I enjoyed Shacking Up. I love Helena Hunting’s writing and this was a sweet romance. Not as bawdy as her Pucked books. But there’s still that Helena flavour. 😛
